Operator II/CDL

 THE CITY OF MAUMELLE is currently taking applications for the position of Operator II/CDL in the Public Works Department.  Candidate must have a valid Arkansas Drivers License, a good driving record, and be able to operate all kinds of equipment such as backhoes, tractors, dump trucks, yard waste trucks, and sanitation trucks.  Scheduled hours for this position are Monday thru Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Starting salary for this position is $11.28 per hour.

Thrower

The City of Maumelle Human Resources Department is currently taking applications for the position of THROWER.

Job Duties Include:
Trash pickup, yard waste pickup, weed-eating, roadside trash pickup (requires a lot of walking), wash trash trucks and other equipment used by Sanitation Department, recycle cans & paper, and mow.

Minimum Qualifications:  High Diploma or GED, six months related experience is desirable, ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Starting Salary:  $10.30 per hour

NOTICE  

PUBLIC FACILITIES BOARD VACANCY  

The Maumelle Public Facilities Board is accepting resumes from residents interested in service on the Board.  The appointment is for a five year term ending May 31, 2013. An applicant must be a resident of Maumelle.  Resumes should be submitted to the Facilities Board Secretary, Bob Gram, 550 Edgewood Drive Suite 590, Maumelle, AR  72113, no later May 23, 2008.  Resumes will be reviewed by the Public Facilities Board at their regularly scheduled meeting on May 27, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.  A recommendation will then be made to the Mayor and City Council for appointment to the position.  Please contact Bob Gram at 310-1277 with any questions.
