Little Rock National Airport is located 22 miles southeast of Maumelle. Simultaneous take-offs and landings of commercial aircraft are now possible through a recent expansion. Eight commercial air carriers provide over 64 daily flights that connect to most air carrier hubs.

Two fixed-base operators, single and multi-engine planes, radio communications, radar, flight control and major repair and service facilities are available.
