Maumelle Economic Development Corporation

Although the Maumelle Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is still in an infancy stage, the following plan is envisioned to organize and promote the benefits of the new 501 -c6 organization. The action plan should be adopted by the new MEDC Board of Directors during their first initial meeting in order for volunteer committees to be formed. These committees will be responsible to develop a comprehensive economic development program that will be coordinated by the officers and the Board of Directors of the corporation. Since the corporation presently has no funds, it is expected that all functions of the organization will be carried out by members and/or community volunteers interested in improving their community.
